Annie grew up in Granville, New York, a small town located on the Vermont-New York border. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Colgate University in Hamilton, NY in 1999 and her veterinary degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY in 2003. After graduation, she moved to Enosburg Falls and worked at Cold Hollow Veterinary Service taking care of cows, horses, sheep, goats, llamas, alpacas, and the occasional pig, and worked part-time at The Animal Doctor taking care of dogs and cats. Since 2010, Annie has worked solely at The Animal Doctor.
In 2019, Annie partnered with Sarah to purchase The Animal Doctor and started their own practice that they now call Enosburg Veterinary Care. They also purchased a historic building in downtown Enosburg which they renovated and moved the practice into in November 2019.
Annie lives with her husband Chris, their two kids Max and Jillian, Marco the dog, Benny the cat, their goats Sandy and Dixie, a gaggle of chickens, and a herd of cows on their farm in Franklin. She spends most of her free time running her kids all over Vermont for sports and other activities. Whenever possible, she tries to carve out a bit of time to enjoy the outdoors–gardening, canoeing, camping, hiking and skiing.
